Theatre Nights and the Digital Edition

A series of scratch presentations and rehearsed readings presented live at The Red Brick Building, Glastonbury and, driven online by coronavirus, by Somerset Film and The Brewhouse, Taunton as The Digital Edition.

Thanks to all three venues for supporting new work in Somerset.

Theatre Nights was run in conjunction with a series of twelve writing workshops, led by Richard Crowe, that covered writing for theatre, radio and film.

Famously introduced by ‘Pete’, Theatre Nights, gave an airing to first thoughts and extracts from the following companies, writers and shows:

Tall Tails Theatre Company – What Every Superhero wants for Christmas

Tor Theatre – The Rime of the Ancient Mariner

Chris Fogg – The Last Red Squirrel in England and The Spindle Tree

Diana Milstein – Stairway to the Stars

Richard Crowe – Spitzer’s Owls

The Young Actors’ Club – The Green Play

Nick White – A Marriage made in Merriot

and the entire performance of Horses, Horses! by Wassail Theatre Company
